How it works

1. Collect. A read-only scan of the network, or data from tools already in place such as Active Directory, Intune, SCCM or Lansweeper: OS version and edition, activation status and channel, and installed software.
2. Entitlements. Licensing statements, invoices and subscription exports are recorded with product, quantity, license type and transfer rights.
3. Match. Installs are compared with licenses using vendor-specific rules, including OEM hardware ties, virtual machine and core counts, and Windows Server CALs.
4. Findings. Each machine gets a status: compliant, unlicensed, wrong edition or channel, activation problem, or unused license.
5. Report. An owner summary and an IT detail list, ready before a vendor audit.
